Many of today’s medicines are chemical compounds that can be very toxic. University of Missouri researcher Kattesh Katti and team have developed new technology to develop gold nanoparticles naturally, and without the use of any toxic chemical. This green nanotechnology is able to target certain types of cancer cells for treatment without creating harmful byproducts. The end result is a safer, trustworthy medical approach to cancer treatment.
